Bio
Betty E. Price, 97, of Fremont, NE, passed away May 9, 2022, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. She was born July 19, 1924, near Morse Bluff, NE on the family farm, to James and Mary (Kunasek) Jirovsky. She graduated from Leshara High School in 1942. Betty married Richard Chesnut on June 21, 1947, in Fremont. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1965. Betty married Marvin Price on June 6, 1970, at the Fremont Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1991. Betty was employed at Linden Elementary School in Fremont as a cook from 1973 until 1987. Betty was a wonderful, beautiful person loved by all. Besides her love of family and friends, she also found joy in gardening. She was a member of the Fremont Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Circle, Mariner's, and past member of the Fremont Eagles Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; brothers, James and Laddie Jirovsky; sisters, Mary, Ann and Adeline Vyhlidal. Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
