Frank Bock, Sr. Columbus Telegraph February 16, 1966 Frank Bock, Sr., Dies, Funeral Services Friday Frank Bock, Sr. Bellwood, died Tuesday night at David City Hospital, he was 81. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gass Funeral Home. with the Rev. Lowell Jones officiating, and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. The body is to lie in state at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. He was born April 17, 1884, in Butler County near Bellwood and spent his entire life in and around Bellwood. The son of Vincent and Mary Lockner Bock, he attended the Butler County schools. He was married to Anna Seidel on Feb.19,1908. A retired farmer, Mr. Bock was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge at Bellwood. He was secretary at the time of his death, an office he had held more than 35 years. Surviving are his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Elsie) Kruse of David City, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Conrad of Logan Ia. Mrs. Fred (Irene) Brase of Bellwood, Mrs. Ben (Velma) Hopkins of Omaha, and Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Pieters of Seward, three sons, Frank V. and Harold B. of Bellwood, and Roy A. of Columbus. Other survivors include 34 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild: one brother George of Tacoma, Washington and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Drawbridge of North Loop. He was preceded in death by one son, Leo of Omaha: four grandchildren and one great grandchild: four brothers, Lawrence and Adam of Bellwood. Anton of California and Vincent of York; and four sisters, Mrs. Mae West, of Denver, Mrs. Josephine Beierle of David City, Mrs. Rose Jacobs of Columbus and Mrs. Francis Cady of Bellwood.
