Obituary for Barbara Ann Dean Barbara Ann Dean was born on July 12, 1936, in Clifton, Texas to the late Rosco and Castell Patterson. Barbara passed from this life on March 11, 2022, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 85. Barbara married William Clinton Dean on July 20, 1956, in Dallas, Texas and they were married for 59 years. They lived in Texas most of their life but moved to Oklahoma when they retired in 2001. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidery, and spending time with her grandkids and family. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband W C Dean; parents Rosco and Castell; sisters LaVaine Humphries, Betty Jones and brother R G Patterson. Barbara is survived by her sons Mark A. Dean and Renee Nabors of Coleman, OK and Mike G. Dean and wife Tammy of Durant, OK; grandchildren Lukas M. Dean and wife Jayna, Jana L. Phillaura and husband Amit and Misty Nealy; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brothers Marvin Patterson and wife Dolores, Keith Patterson, Kent Patterson and wife Pam; sister Linda Patterson and numerous extended family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Coleman Cemetery with Bro. Earl White Officiating. The family will receive friends at Brown's Funeral Service in Durant from 6-8 PM on Monday evening. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
