Betty Wanda Patterson Jones, 71, of Clifton, Texas, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Boggy Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Betty is survived by her sons, Walter Sims, of Mesquite and William Jones, of McCook, Neb.; daughters, Doris Shrum, of Irving, Jenny Barnes, of Carrolton and Jodie Russell, of Purdy, Mo.; brothers, R. G. Patterson; sisters, Lavaine Humphries, Barbara Dean and Linda Patterson; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Waco Tribune-Herald: 12/17/2005
