Bonifay, Mary Idell (Dixon) Feb 4, 1884 - Aug 29, 1963 Pensacola Journal, Aug. 30, 1963 - Milton/Bagdad Mrs. Mary Idell Bonifay, 77, of Bagdad, died at her home Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County and a member of the Bagdad Church of Christ. Survivors include five sons, Joe Bonifay, E. A. Bonifay and Bill Bonifay, all of Bagdad. Harvey Bonifay of DeFuniak Springs and Ernest Bonifay of Pensacola; five daughters, Mrs. Ira Rich and Mrs. Onie Crawford of Bagdad, Mrs. Eula Mae Walders of Miami, Mrs. Ruth Allen and Miss Avis Bonifay of Bagdad; a brother and three sisters; and 16 grandchildren. The body will be in the chapel of Walter Lewis Funeral Home until 2 p.m. Sunday when it will be moved to the Bagdad Church of Christ for funeral services at 3 p.m. with R. W. Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Black Hammock Cemetery.
