Avis Bonifay Avis Bonifay, 95, of Marianna, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Avis was born March 19, 1919, to Joseph O. Bonifay and Mary Idell Dixon Bonifay, at Robinson Point, Florida. She was a former resident of Bagdad and has resided in Marianna, Florida, the past 50 years. She is predeceased by her parents, six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Katie Bonifay Sawyer. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, with Minister Preston Silcox officiating. Private burial at Black Hammock Cemetery in Garcon Point. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., prior to the service at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel.
