"Bill" to his friends ∼ Bonifay, William McGee, Sr. Jan 30, 1911 - Jul 1, 1974 Pensacola Journal, Wed., Jul 3, 1974 -BAGDAD, William McGee Bonifay, Sr., 63, of Rt. 8, Milton died Monday in an Esc. Co. hospital. A native of Santa Rosa Co., he was a veteran of World War II, a retired civil service employe and a member of the Margaret St. Church of Christ. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katie Bonifay of Milton; a son, W. M. (Buddy) Bonifay, Jr., of Milton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Belk of England and Mrs. Patricia Hubbley of Ky.; four brothers, Joe Bonifay and E. A. Bonifay, both of Bagdad, Harvey R. Bonifay of Chipley and Ernest Bonifay of Pensacola; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Allen and Mrs. Onie Crawford, both of Milton, Mrs. Ivey Rich of La., Mrs. Eula Mae Walters of Miami, Miss Avis Bonifay of Marianna, Fla., eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday in the Helms Funeral Home Chapel with brother Ordin Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Bagdad Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Floyd Cropper, Cleo Kirkland, Robert Bell, James Everidge, Joe Barker and J. C. Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers are W. __ Reinhardt, The___Kirkland, Rodney Wells, __vell Enfinger, Harvey Pargher and Leroy Smith.
