Singer: Hillbilly-Music, Rockabilly, Country, and County Blues during the early 1950s. In 1950 at just 13 years old she signed with RCA and recorded her first single "To Young To Tango." Ruby "Sunshine Ruby" Clower (Bateman) Tuesday, October 24th, 1939 - Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 She was born October 24, 1939, in Myrtle Springs to William Austin & Leamor Jewel Tidwell Bateman. From the age of 8-16 years old, Ruby was a singer and had a contract with RCA Records as "Sunshine Ruby", singing on the "Big D Jamboree" in Dallas, Eddie Arnold Show, Jerry Lewis Telethon, Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, NY, and many other places through the years.
