Mandy was born in Anderson Co, TX to George W. and Sarah Charlotte "Lottie" Carter Fletcher. She shares a stone with her husband, John Robert Gossett. Her parents are also buried in Fields Chapel Cemetery. Two of their sons, Andrew Jackson Gossett and John Robert Gossett Jr., and a daughter, Cassie Belle Gossett, are buried in Fields Chapel Cemetery. They all died in childhood. Daughter, Edith Evelyn Gossett Ashley, is buried in Ferguson Cemetery. Daughter Sovona May Gossett Barbary is buried in Wood's Memorial Cemetery in Duncan,SC. Mandy was residing in Palestine,Anderson County,Texas with her daughter,at the time of her death.
