Born near Dwight, NE. and died at Seward, NE. Daughter of Joseph & Mary (Vrbka) Purtek. Married to Cyril Urbanek Agnes E. Urbanek 86, Seward, formerly of Ulysses, widow of Cyril M., died Friday Dec. 14, 2007 at Sunderman Home in Seward of recurrent breast cancer. Born Sept. 13, 1921 in Dwight, Neb. to Joseph and Mary (Vrbka) Purtek. Atttended grade school at Dwight Assumption and Holy Trinity, Brainard, graduated Ulysses High School. Married Cyril Urbanek on May 1, 1940 at Immaculate Conception Church, Ulysses. Homemaker. Busy Hands 4-H Club Leader; member Catholic Workman; Ulysses Community Club; Ulysses Neighbors Extension Club; Immaculate Conception Altar Society; Czech Club. Enjoyed gardening, polka music, traveling, going to the Czech Republic twice, helping her grandchildren experience farm life, loved to bake and was an incredible cook.
