Filomena (Brando)Simonetti (Born:May 18, 1899 - Died: June 24, 1970) Attached is a picture of her as a teenager. Filomena Brando was born in 1899 in Teggiano, Italy. Her father was Cono Brando ((Born: 8/20/1878 Died: 1952 ) and his wife Theresina (Cioffe) (Born: 1880 Died: 5/22/1930) She arrived at Ellis Island with her mother in 1903 on the ship Sardegna. Her father had immigrated in 1901. She had two brothers Tom and Louis. They initially lived initially at 40 Richards Street, Brooklyn New York. She married Emillio Simonetti in 1921 and moved to 59-27 59th Road in Maspeth, Queens, NY where she lived for the rest of her life. She had 3 sons; Felix, Cono and William. She died in 1970 of heart problems.
