Grand Rapids Press, Thursday, Mar 31, 1966, Grand Rapids, MI, Page 63, "Obituary" GATHERER - Walter Gatherer, aged 90, of Edna st. SE, passed away Tuesday at Blodgett hospital. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Helen E. Gatherer of Grand Rapids; a son, Walter J. Gatherer of Glenville, Ill., three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon 1:30 at the Sullivan Chapel where Mr. Gatherer reposes, Rev. Neil Bintz officiating. Graveside services at Restlawn Memorial Park will be under the auspices of DeMoial Commandery No 5 K.T.
