East Peoria -- Cora Marie Struebing, 76 of 252 Kell St. died at 8:30 P.M . Sunday, June 11, 1995, at her home. Born April 11, 1919, in East Peoria to Arthur Roswell and Nellie Mae Pearl Twiggs Bisco, she married Erbie Elton Emerson on June 8, 1935, in East Peoria. He died Aug. 25, 1939, in East Peoria. She later married Carl Peter Struebing on May 7, 1946, in Peoria. He died May 7, 1983, in East Peoria. Two sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gearld (Josephine Marie) Bowen of East Peoria and Mrs. Ray (Marjorie Mae) Vogel of Mapleton; one step-daughter, Mrs Harry (Arlene Kay) Tenuta of Tampa Bay, FL.; one brother, Henry Earl Bisco of Roanoke, IL.; two sisters, Agnes Mae Gaba of East Peoria, IL. and Elsie Pearl Cook of Columbia, KY.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for a few years. She formerly bowled for the women's International Bowling Congress. Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Remmert Funeral Home. The Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fon Du Lac Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Methodist Medical Center Hospice program in Peoria.
