Harry E. Saffer, 71, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, in Glen Rose.Graveside service: 10 a.m. Friday in White Church Cemetery in Somervell County. Mr. Saffer was born April 24, 1935, in Lansdale, Pa., to Harry and Mary Farrell Saffer. He was a master electrician for 50 years. He was a wonderful dedicated father and husband and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Saffer was preceded in death by his two wives, Dorothy and Billy. Survivors: Sons, Michael Saffer and wife, Telisa, of Glen Rose and Dennis Saffer of Seattle, Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Dennis Chestnut of Michigan City, Ind., Susan and Michael Hansent of Atlanta, Ga., Kelly and Steve Heitzmann of Middleton, Del., and Robin and Charlie Krueger of Michigan City, Ind.; stepchildren, Brenda and Doug Ransom and Bill Buzan, all of Glen Rose; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel Saffer of Ohio and Jimmy Saffer of Tennessee; and sister, Nancy Glynn of Pennsylvania
