John James Saffer of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday January 15, 2017 at the age of 71. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 8, 1945 to the late Harry Saffer and Mary Farrell. John served in the United States Army and worked as a professional Upholsterer for most of his life. He also loved to Race at the Music City Raceway, and spend time with his family. He was a great father, husband and a great man who will be greatly missed. In honor of John’s life, friends and loved ones are invited to the Memorial Service on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
