MICHIGAN CITY - Dorothy Marie "Dottie" (Saffer) Burch 68, of Van Spanje Avenue died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in a daughter's home in Michigan City. Survivors include her husband Robert W.; four daughters, Sharon Chesnut and Robin Krueger both of Michigan City, Susan Hansen of Indianapolis and Kelly Heitzmann of Middletown. Del; two sons Michael Saffer of Glen Rose. Texas, and Dennis Saffer of Seattle; two stepdaughters Shari Burch of Seattle and Roberta Burch of Indianapolis and a step-son David Burch of Indianapolis. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church There will be no visitation. Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
