JOSEPH "J.K." KENNION HAMILTON JR. was the son of Joseph Kennion Hamilton Sr. and Mrs. Martha Jane (Nichols) Hamilton. His known siblings were James W. Hamilton, Ester Adeline Hamilton and Oscar T. Hamilton. He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Henson) Hamilton whom he married on July 20, 1909 in Searcy County, Arkansas. Their known children were Gertrude Hamilton, Fannie Hamilton, James Hamilton, Lissie Hamilton, Lester Hamilton, Claude Jessie Hamilton, George Kennion Hamilton, Martha Modine Hamilton, Jesse Ray Hamilton, Mary Martha Cordelia Hamilton and Birtie June Hamilton. He preceded his wife in death. He was laid to rest on June 16, 1943 on the grounds of Grace Hill Cemetery in Longview, Texas. Burial arrangements were managed by Welch Funeral Home of Gregg County, Texas.
