Mrs. BIRTIE JUNE (HAMILTON) ERSKINE was the daughter of Joseph Kennion Hamilton and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Henson) Hamilton. She was the wife of Hubert Edward Erskine. She was also preceded in death by their infant son, Clifford Wayne Erskine, who passed away in 1955. Obituary "Birtie Erskine, 63, a homemaker, died Sunday at a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Skyvue Memorial Park, in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Wednesay at Shannon North Funeral Home. Birtie Erskine was born June 27, 1933 in Harleton, Texas. She moved to Fort Worth in 1955, and she was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Edward Erskine. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Hubert Edward Erskine; a son, Ronnie Erskine; two daughters, Cynthia Ann Williams and Brenda June Vore; a brother, George K. Hamilton; three sisters, Gertha Olds, Martha Modine Hearnsberger and Fannie Dickerson; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Shannon North Funeral Home of Fort Worth."
