Jewell was born at Raleigh, Navarro County, Texas to William Brisco Key and Jossie Burton on January 12, 1912. She Married James Sampson Nutt March 30, 1929 in Raleigh Texas. They had five children Josie Ruedell, Edna Earl, Sonda, Glenda Faye and Freddy Lynn. She passed away October 7, 1972.
