Jossie was born in Hill Co., Texas December 6, 1889 to Sallie and William Burton. She had three brothers and sisters Unnie, Ottie and DJ. She married William Brisco Key May 10, 1908 at Brookin, Hill Co., Texas. They had two children Sadie Mae and Jewell. Jossie passed away November 8, 1984.
