Bio

son of W.R. Bruton - Sallie Pounds Services for D.J. Bruton, 82, longtime Olney resident, were held at the First Baptist Church. Bruton moved to Young County in 1920. He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church. Survived by two daughters - Doris Jean Buchalla of Brenham and Margie Higgins of Post; five sons - William Lee, Ralph and Kenneth, all of Olney; Ray Olin of Irving, Garnell of Granbury; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six brothers; four sisters.
