Bio

Nancy Price, 79 of Pottsville, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at DNRC. She was born November 8, 1941 in Mesquite, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Price; parents, Elmer and Gladys Lowe Slough; three sisters, Jean Marie, Janita and Billie Swinscoe and her son-in-law, Derek Webb. Nancy met and married the love of her life, Jack Price, in 1957. The family moved to Arkansas in 1971, where Nancy was a fulltime mother, homemaker and friend. She taught Sunday School at Welcome Hill Assembly of God Church for about 25 years and was the church secretary for 43 years. Nancy loved the Lord with everything she had. She leaves behind her two daughters, Billie Detrick and husband, Tommy of Russellville, Jana Webb of Atkins; four grandchildren, Joseph (Christy) Detrick, Pottsville, Jennifer (Brandon) Malardier, Bentonville, BJ (Brandi) Gooden, Atkins, Amanda (Joey) Nelson, Atkins; eight great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Bailey, Braedon, Jacob, Lexxie, Abby, Bianca & Jackson and a host of family and friends. Her visitation will be 3-5pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Russellville Family Funeral. Her funeral service will be 2pm, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Welcome Hill Assembly of God Church on Crow Mountain, with Bro. Adam Shaddon and Bro. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial with follow in Bowden Cemetery under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. Masks are required for the visitation and funeral service attendance. Pallbearers will be Joseph Detrick, BJ Gooden Jacob Malardier, Joey Nelson, Andy McAnulty, Jackson Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Braedon Malardier, Brandon Malardier. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Russellville Family Funeral, to assist with the funeral arrangements.
