Fort Bend Herald, July 31, 2019: A memorial service for Johnny Mack Dubec, 68, of Richmond, will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Rosenberg. Sadly to say after a long hard struggle, the battle was won; Johnny Mack Dubec gained his wings and went to heaven on Monday, July 22, 2019, surrounded by his wife and family. Johnny Mack Dubec was born on March 3, 1951 to Louis Dubec Sr. and Albina Praslicka Dubec in Littlefield, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Albina Praslicka Dubec; father, Louis Dubec Sr.; brothers, Edward Dubec, Louis Dubec Jr.; and sister, Mary Jane Dubec Smith. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Janie Kujawa Dubec; son, Jason Mack Dubec and wife, Shaylene Rose Dubec; daughters, Shauna Lynn Dubec Bates and husband, Craig Alan Bates, Michelle Lynn Dubec Castor and husband, Matthew James Castor; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Dubec, Shailyn Elizabeth Cruz, Makalia Rose Berry, Ryleigh Marie Dubec, Caden Alan Bates, Chase Alan Bates, Kayla Lynn Castor, and Landen James Castor; sisters, Helen Dubec Hughes of Oklahoma City, Agnes Dubec Stephens of Rosenberg; and several nieces and nephews.
