Graveside services for Bob Henry Jones, of Thackerville, OK, will be Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, OK under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta. Officiating will be Pastor Chase Green. Bob was born June 14, 1943, in Thackerville, the son of George Henry and Margaret V. (McGill) Jones. He died November 19, 2020 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK at the age of 77. Bob was a life long Love County resident. He graduated from Thackerville High School. Bob enlisted in the United States Navy in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964. He worked for the Sante Fe Railroad as a conductor and retired after 37 years. Bob married his love, Donna Jones on April 19, 1973 in the Lake Murray Chapel. He was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ. He loved gardening and taking care of trees, but spending time with his family brought him great joy. Survivors include his wife, Donna Jones of the home; one son, Quincy Jones and wife Tessa of Athens, TX; three daughters, LaDonna Gray and husband Mark of Poolville, TX, Jessica Smith and husband Daniel of Edmond, OK, and Valerie Lee and husband Shaun of West Monroe, LA; one brother, Bill Jones and wife Claudia; one sister, Ruth Johnson of McKinney, TX; and 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Jones; six brothers, Jack Jones, Earl Jones, David Jones, Ted Jones, George H. Jones, Jr., and Val Gene Jones; and three sisters, Joyce McKay, Sally Garcia, and Dolly Bone. Casket bearers are Quincy Jones, Mark Gray, Jimbo Evans, Dakota Evans, Daniel Smith, and Larry Evans. Honorary bearers are Shaun Lee, Zackery Lee, Blake Jones, and Tucker Jones. Time for viewing will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guest book: wattsfuneralhome.com
