Fort Bend Herald, October 18, 2020: On Wednesday, October 14th, 2020, Annie Nawara White, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 85. Annie was born on December 7th, 1934 in Rosenberg, Texas to Frank J. Nawara and Tracy Ann Mazac. She worked for Southwestern Bell as a switchboard operator and then in the plant for 35 years. On March 30th, 1952 she married Arville Lee White. They raised two daughters, Brenda and Denise. Annie had a passion for gardening, dominos, and caring for her family. She was dedicated to the church and attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rosenberg, TX. She was known for her sharp wit, her incredible baking, and her dedication to her family. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Arville White, and by her brother, Leonard Nawara. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda and Denise; her granddaughter and her husband, Tracie Bonds and Joey Friloux; and her grandson, Scott; her great grandchildren, Andrew and Katherine; her brother and his wife, Nelson and Marceil Nawara; her many family members and friends who will miss her dearly; and her poodle, Belle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2020, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1208 5th Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with burial following in Davis Greenlawn Cemetery, Rosenberg, TX. Visitation will be from 1:00 — 2:00 PM Monday, for one hour preceding the funeral service. Social distancing and facial masks are required in the church building.
