Bio
son of Louis and Minnie (Henrichsen) Hafer, husband of Winona (Wideman) Hafer Clarence served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was part of the 345 Fighter Squadron, 350 Fighter Group Army Air Force, assigned to the European Theatre and saw action in Rome - Arno, Southern France, North Apennines, and the Po Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Emma Hafer in 1914; and two brothers: Willie Hafer in 1946 and Alvin Hafer in 1972. He is survived by a daughter, a son, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
