Bio

Joel Basket Haile was the son of Mead J. Haile and Livy Ann Cavin. He was born in MO and migrated with his parents and all but two of his siblings to TX about the end of the Civil War. He married Nancy Susan (Nannie) Overton on February 11, 1883. She died December 22, 1902, in Linden, OK Territory, and is buried at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
