Bio

All newspaper references to his burial state he was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Longview. A search of Longview cemetery records show he was actually buried at Grace Hill Cemetery. "FIREMAN KILLED Fort Worth, April 12 - J. F. Johnson, fireman for the Texas and Pacific railroad, was killed today when run over by a freight car being switched at Lancaster." (The Brownsville Herald, 12 Apr 1929, pg. 23)
