Bio

Death certificate reports her year of birth as 1859. In addition to the children listed below, she and J. H. Johnson had another son, Jimmie, who died before 1900. J. H. Johnson was married first to Nanie's older sister, Hattie. After Hattie's death, J. H. Johnson married Nanie. Among her many siblings were NEWTON RHODES WILLIAMS and SARAH VIRGINIA "JENNIE" VESSELS .
