Bio

CLARION - Norman R. Kroh 57, a native of Clarion, died at 7 a.m. Saturday in Woodsboro. Md. Born in Clarion, on July 21 1908, he was the son of Elda A. Kifer Kroh of Erie and the late Wilbert N. Kroh. He married the former Betty Burns. She survives. Mr. Kroh was a superintendent for the LeGore Limestone Company in LeGore, Md. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Woodsboro and of the Woodsboro American Legion Post. During World War II, Mr. Kroh served with the U.S. Navy. In addition to his wife, Betty Burns Kroh of Woodsboro, and his mother, Elda A. Kifer Kroh of Erie. Removal was made to the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with Rev. James Cox, pastor of the Methodist Church of Clarion, officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
