Mrs. Betty J. Warner, 60, of 3915 Meadowview Drive, Frederick, died Monday, Feb. 9, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Baltimore. She was the wife of Wilbur D. Warner. Her first husband, Norman R. Kroh, predeceased her in 1967. Born in Sligo, Pa., April 11, 1920, Mrs. Warner was a daughter of Mrs. Lucille Davis Kirkwood of Clarion, Pa., and the late Earl D. Burns. Mrs. Warner was a member of the Woodsboro Lutheran Church, the Glenn W. Eyler American Legion Post 282 Auxiliary, Woodsboro, and AMVETS Post 2 Auxiliary, Frederick. Mrs. Warner had been employed as a payroll clerk by the Potomac Edison Co. for 20 years. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, William Thomas Kroh, Woodsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Kroh Chipley, Keymar; three stepchildren, Wilbur D. Warner Jr. of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Kay Kitchen of Frederick and Mrs. Lucinda Wolfe, Upper Marlboro; a brother, Raymond D. Burns, Farmington Hills, Mich.; five grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews. A brother, Edwin O. Burns, predeceased her. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-9p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Stauffer Funeral Home, Motter Avenue Ext., Frederick. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. On Thursday, Feb. 12, Mrs. Warner will be taken to the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Woods St., Clarion, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, from the Burns Funeral Home. The Rev. LeRoy Jones, First United Methodist Church of Clarion, will officiate. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery. -------------------------
