Bio

Nettie was the daughter of William "Major" and Margaret Jane "Jennie" Dotson Owens. Her father is buried in Grapeland City Cemetery, and her mother is also buried in Garden of Memories. She shares a stone with her husband, J.D. Prater. Their sons, J. D. Prater Jr. and Charles Prater, are buried in Garden of Memories.
