Father: William N McMILLAN Mother: Myrtle C Spouse: Robert Hal RICHARDS Child: Tommy Sue RICHARDS Funeral services for Loma Richards, 95, of Levelland, will be 2 p.m., today, Dec. 14, 2007, at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Morton, with Rev. Bob Baldree, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland. She died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at Covenant Hospital, in Levelland. Born on May 30, 1912 in Bosque County, she was a longtime resident of Hockley and Cochran Counties. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1929 and married Rob Richards in 1933; he died in 1990. While in Morton, she owned and operated the Morton Malt Shop, the WigWam, and lastly, the Tic Toc Cafes. After closing the Tic Toc, she cooked for residents at the nursing home in Morton, and sat with the elderly. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tommie Sue Massey, in 1976, and by a granddaughter, Tammy Massey, in 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gordon McMillan; two sisters, Ila Mae Hicks and Sara Jo Hale. LubbockOnline.com
