TOMMIE SUE MASSEY RITES HELD MONDAY Services for Tommie Sue Massey were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the First Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Phil Knott, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Singleton Funeral Home. Mrs. Massey, 38, was dead of natural causes on arrival at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Cochran Memorial Hospital. She was a Levelland native and had lived in Morton since 1952. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Jo of Morton, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rob Richards of Morton, a sister, Mrs. Peggy Pugh of Ruidoso, N.M. and her grandmother, Mrs. J.B. Reed of Levelland. Pallbearers were: Jimmy and Hector McMillan, Jerald and Joel Cookston, and Mark and Don Hix, all of Levelland. Morton (TX) Tribune, Thursday, September 30, 1976, page 10.
