Bio
Celia Virginia Waldrep, age 88, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020, in Stephenville, Texas. She was born on September 17, 1931, in Hamilton, Texas to Roy Arthur and Celia (Harris) Chumney. On July 3, 1954, she was united in marriage to Benny Waldrep in Hamilton, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2017. Virginia was a homemaker and loved gardening. She was an exceptional seamstress who taught home economics. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Comanche and she was faithful to her Lord. She is survived by: two sons, James Waldrep and wife, Martha, of Georgia and Raymond Waldrep and wife, Bonnie of Comanche; daughter, Rebecca (Waldrep) Templeton, and husband, Philip, of Azle; two sisters, Sarah Jo Lewis and Jeanne Faye Tallent and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Arthur and Celia (Harris) Chumney; four brothers: Billie, Roy, Carl and Jimmie Chumney.
