Irene Ann Valek Tolleson, 77, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, in her home in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. She was born on April 30, 1942, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Rudolph Frank Jr. and Emily Prachyl Valek. She grew up in Ennis, Texas and graduated from St. John High School in 1960. On April 20, 1963, Irene married Wayne Tolleson. Irene was a dedicated housewife, homemaker, and caretaker for her children, grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was a faithful member of St. John Catholic Church. She loved spending time with family and also spent many hours baking Czech pastries with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Hedy McCoy, Rudy Valek, Louis Valek, and Henry Valek. Survivors include her husband and caretaker, Wayne Tolleson; daughters: Kathleen Hollingsworth and her husband, Roger, Julie Rejcek and her husband, Dennis, and Angela Sibley and her husband, Keith; her grandchildren, Joshua Hollingsworth and Jordan Miller, Barry Hollingsworth and wife Mallory, Brandy Robinson and husband Cameron, Ryan Rejcek and wife Krista, Nathan and Nick Rejcek, Hunter, Brett, and Jake Sibley; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Vavra and her husband, Kenneth, and Lillie Thompson; brother, Joe Valek and his wife, Dorothy; sisters-in-law, Joann Valek and Patsy Taylor; other relatives and many friends.
