Lena Anna Benad, born Anna Lena Benad in Germany, Immigrated to the USA, 25 March 1884, on the SS Neckar - Daughter of Karl Gustav Benad Sr and Henrietta Bachmann . Sister of Magdalena "Freida" , Anna Henrietta "Annie" , Fritz Karl "Charlie" , August "Fritz" , Hans Ernest , Karl Gustav "Gus" Jr , Johanna Maria "Mary" , Walter and Alice Benad. Lena married, before 1915, Frank Limmer , a son of Mr & Mrs W M Limmer. Mother of Gustavo Fritz "Gus" , Gertrude Henrietta , Walter Frank and Bernice Vera Limmer. Lena died in Taylor, Williamson Co., TX. ~~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~ LIMMER, Mrs. Lena (Frank) of Taylor. Age 89. Died 9/27/1971 (Monday) in a Taylor hospital. Services held (Wed.) from St.John Lutheran Church in Thrall. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Revs. James Heineke and E. Herber officiated. Condra Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was BORN 6/9/1882 and a resident of Taylor for the past 66 years and a member of the Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: 2 daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Krieg of Taylor and Mrs. Bernice Rieger of Coupland; 2 sons, G.F. Limmer of Coupland and Walter Limmer of Taylor; 3 sisters, Mrs. Annie Gross of Houston, Mrs. Mary Johle of Taylor and Mrs. Alice Remmel of Coupland; brother, Walter Benad of Taylor; 7 grandsons; 7 great-grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.
