Nancy Myrl "Muvie" Locklin - Daughter of Samuel Griffith Locklin and Sarah Frances Large . Sister of Leonora "Lee" , William Alteman "Babe" , Nola Maranda , Maude Louise , Leonard Louis , Clifford Griffith "Cliff" , Theodore Francis "Rat" , Elmer Monroe "Bill" and Wyatt Zachory "Dude" Locklin. Muvie married, 12 May 1912 in Georgetown, Williamson Co., TX - Ezra Anderson Stephens , a son of William S and Mattie Stephens. After the death of Ezra in 1933, Muvie married Milford William Phillips. Mother of (by Ezra) Edgar Allen "Jake" and Wyatt "Hope" Stephens. Mother of an adopted daughter, Maria G Clement, as indicated on the 1930 Nueces Co., TX census. Granddaughter of Alteman Livingston Locklin & Mary Elizabeth Fokes and Adam William Large & Nancy Miller . ~~~~~~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~~~~~~ PHILLIPS, Mrs. Nancy Myrl, of San Antonio, native of Thorndale. BORN 8/19/1890 to Samuel G. & Sarah Large Locklin, a pioneer family of this area. SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Jake and Hope Stephens, both of San Antonio; sister, Mrs. Maud Stigall of Davilla; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
