Bio
Robert Lee Cinek, 73, of West, passed away Saturday morning, July 21, 2007, at West Rest Haven. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, with the Rev. Ed. Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Robert was born in McLennan County, Texas, to Joseph P. Cinek and Bertha Grossman Cinek and had lived in the West area all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, KJT Society #31. He attended Tokio and St. Mary's school in West. He loved raising chickens and enjoyed selling eggs. Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Alfons Cinek; and sisters, Hattie Sulak, Ida Dolezal, Vlasta Rejcek, and Willie Mae Neckar. He is survived by his brother, Ervin Cinek, of West; sister, Irene Pustejovsky and husband, John, of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews. Waco Tribune-Herald: 7/22/2007...U1
