Thanks to contributor #46777470 Thursday, October 22, 1987 Columbus Telegram Columbus, NE Pg #2 Died on Thursday, October 20, 1987 Alex M. Allison Funeral services for Alex M. Allison, 77, of Columbus, will be 10:30a.m. Friday at Highland Park Evangelical Free Church with Rev. John Westerholm officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery with Military rites by Hartman Post 84 of the American Legion. Mr. Allison died Tuesday at Veteran's Hospital in Omaha. Visitation will be 2-9p.m. Thursday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Mr. Allison was born May 21, 1910 in Columbus. He married Dulila (Delia) Langan in 1940. He was a retired chef. Mr. Allison served in the Army in World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are three daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Robert) Boswell, Wanda (Mrs. Kurt) Behlen and Marilyn (Mrs. Keith) Bruhn, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
