Thanks to contributor #46777470 Monday, December 30, 1974 The Columbus Telegram Columbus, NE Pg #8 Died on Sunday, December 29, 1974 Nelda (Stege) Allison Mrs. Alex (Nelda) Allison, 58, of 1630 22nd Street, died Sunday after a brief illness. Funeral rites will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McKown Funeral Chapel with burial in Roselawn Cemetery The Rev. Robert Ahlenius will officiate. Her body lies in state at the funeral home until time of the service. Daughter of William and Nellie (Burge) Stege, she was born August 29, 1916 at Oakdale. She married Alex Allison on August 20, 1961 in Columbus. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Carolyn Hoff and Mrs. Christine Sylvester of Columbus; son, Gary E. Edwards of Ridgewod, N.J. two sisters, Doris Lane of Columbus and Hazel Brown of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Jim Stege of Seattle; four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one infant daughter.
