W.O. Majors officiating. Burial wll be in Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Turner was born Aug. 28, 1892, in Jonesville, Va., the son of A.Kyle and Laura Stapleton Turner and married Marie Jones on Dec. 24, 1919. He was a veteran of World War I, a retired City of Greenville employe and a member of the United Methodist Church and American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Turner of Greenville; two sons, Jack R. Turner and Charles F. Thurner (sic) both of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Prince of Campbell and Mrs. Alice Oler of Greenville; two sisters Mrs. W.H. Rore (sic) and Mrs. L.E. Miller, both of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Children: Jack R. Turner (1920 - 2000) Charles F. Turner (1922 - 1997) Rosemary Turner Prince (1924 - 1999)
