The Rev. Foster Parnell and the Rev. Guy Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park. Nephews will serve as pallbearer (sic). Mr. Turner died at 11 a.m. Monday in a Greenville hospital, following a sudden illness which began December 23. He was born Sept. 11, 1893, in Virginia, the son of Kyle and Laura Turner. He was married to Miss Nancy Levacy, Oct. 27, 1912. A member of the Lamar Baptist Church, he resided at 4015 Fourth street at the time of his death and had lived in Greenville throughout his life. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Ted K. Turner, Greenville and Raymond Turner, Greenville; six daugbters, Mrs. Loyd Foley, Greenville, Mrs. Elbert Freeman, Greenville, Mrs. Will Williams, Greenville, Mrs. James Hickman, Greenville, Mrs. Lee Butler, Mesquite, Mrs. C.E. Jones, Richardson; three sisters, Mrs. L.E. Miller, Greenville, Mr. Bill Rorax (sic) Greenville; Mrs. Ollie Turner, Grenville; one brother, Marvin Turner, Greenville; 21 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by one son and two brothers. The body will rest at the family home, 4015 Fourth street, until time of service. Sorrells and Sons funeral home is in charge.
