Services for Edna Jean Coldiron , 79 of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Jean passed away September 11, 2019 at her home in Ben Wheeler, TX, She was born February 9, 1940 in Henderson County, TX to Henry Thomas Hickman and Bertha Alene Slagle. Jean grew up in the Peeltown Community of Kaufman County and attended school at Scurry Rosser. She married Fred Coldiron in 1965 and moved to Ben Wheeler in 1971. Jean enjoyed reading, gardening, quilting and canning in her spare time. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest loves. Jean attended First Baptist Church of Ben Wheeler. She is survived by her Daughter, Lola & Robert Jones; Bonus Daughter, Linda Dunham; Bonus Daughter, Nelda Barton; 11 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters: Barbara Stanford, Nevia & Robert Seeley, and Rita Christopher; along with several nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her Parents, Tommy & Bertha Hickman; Husband, Fred Coldiron; Son, Mark Hickman; 5 Brothers; and a Sister. Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX. Family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Eubank Funeral Home
