Services for Fred L. Coldiron, 77, Ben Wheeler, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Rev. Louie Barron and Rev. Carlton Young officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Coldiron died February 26, 2001, in Tyler. He was born February 12, 1924, in Yarnaby, Okla., to the late Fred J. Beecher and Virginia Ethel Vinson Coldiron. He served in the U. S. Army in Germany during World WarII. He lived in Bonham and Dallas, moving to Ben Wheeler in 1971. He was a carpenter and a tile setter. He was a member of Ben Wheeler Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ben Wheeler. Van Zandt News, Sunday, March 4, 2001.
