Bio

Services for Tommy Hickman, 79, are set for 2 pm Sunday at Carroll and Lehr Memory Chapel with the Dr Ray Phelps officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery. Mr. Hickman died Friday morning in a local hospital after a short illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Hickman of Athens; three sons, James of Athens Paul of Sherman and Larry of Dallas; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Gunstanson and Mrs. Rita Christopher, both of Athens, Mrs. Barbara Stanford of Irving, Mrs. Nevia Seely of Dallas and Mrs. Jean Coldiron of Ben Wheeler; 23 grandhildren; and six great-grandchildren.
