Bio

Larry James Dobrava, 80, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away on August 7, 2019. He was born on July 3, 1939 in Rosenberg, Texas to Lad and Hilda Dobrava. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. Larry took great pride in attending his grandchildren's sports endeavors. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Denise Dobrava; and sisters, Dorothy Christ and Magdalene Kucherka. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Karen; son, Kevin and wife, Kimberly; son, Brian and wife, Jeannie; daughter, Michele Turney and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Sumner, Aidan, Garrett, Dillon, Cole, and Blake; along with extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Tributes and words of condolence may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.
