Justine Mildred Vrla, age 96 passed away on June 9, 2019. She was born in Ennis, Texas on April 14, 1923 to John and Josephine (Kolarik) Vrana. Justine was a member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church, KJZT, and Altar Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be sorely missed by her family and those fortunate to know her in work, play and worship. Mrs. Vrla is survived by her children; John P. Vrla and wife Patricia, Steven L. Vrla, Mary K. Babek and husband David, Jeanette Smith and husband Donald, Christopher Vrla and wife Julie and numerous other extended family and loved ones. Justine is preceded in death by her parents, and husband John A. Vrla. Also, awaiting her in the heavenly afterlife are her 10 siblings she grew up with and had long missed. The family will receive friends from 8AM with a Rosary at 9AM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. The service will be conducted by Father George Henninger at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
