Antonie "Toni" Vrana Kubin, 96, passed away on July 26, 2016, in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2016, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Toni was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late John Louis and Josephine (Kolarik) Vrana. She was a devout Catholic, member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the KJZT; she attended Saint John School as one of its first students. She married John F. Kubin on October 14, 1941, after they met at a house dance in 1939. She was a loving mother devoted to her family, a strong single parent who raised five children and was adored by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Kubin, on June 19, 1960; son, Danny E. Kubin, on December 5, 2015; six sisters; three brothers; and three infant brothers. Survivors include her son, Leon Kubin and wife, Anita, of Ennis; daughters: Polly Henry and husband, Charlie, of Royse City, Diane Kubin, of Dallas, and Janice Reed and husband, Randy, of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren: Chris Kubin, Patrick Kubin and wife, Lisa, Andrew Kubin and wife, Julie, Melissa Loosier and Michael Loosier, Jennifer Norris and husband, Chad, and Jeremy Walker and wife, Crystal; great-grandchildren: Nickolas, Easton, Riley, Cooper, Cayli, Hayden, Jagger, Addison, Knox and Hudson; one sister, Justina Vrla; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
