Bio

Clarence Sullivan, 78, of Woodson, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at Stephens Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Woodson, with the Rev. Rickey Mitchell, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Woodson Cemetery directed by Melton Funeral Home. Born July 29, 1907,in Chico, he married VERA ALLISON March 2, 1935 in Throckmorton. He moved to Woodson in 1915 from Chico and was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodson. Survivors include his wife of Woodson; three daughters, COLENE KILGORE and LINDA KRAMER of Ozona and JONNIE JONES of Woodson; four sons, CARLTON SULLIVAN, GLENN SMITH, AND E. R. SMITH, all of Woodson and J. H. SMITH of Arlington; 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
